Trading cards turn a season into something a kid keeps. A photo, a squad number, a stats panel on the back — handed out at prizegiving, sold as a fundraiser, or swapped around the clubrooms. We print them here, which means a club can order thirty cards instead of three thousand and still have them in hand before the season ends.

What goes on a card

Front

Player photo, name, squad number, team and season. Club colours and logo. We can work to your existing club branding or build a layout from scratch.

Back

Whatever suits the code and the age group — position, playing stats, season highlights, a quote, or personal details like favourite food and favourite player. For junior teams the personal stuff lands better than the statistics.

What we need from you

• Photos. One per player. Phone photos are fine if they're well lit and reasonably sharp — outdoors on an overcast day is ideal. Shoot in landscape or portrait consistently across the squad.
• A player list. A spreadsheet with names, numbers and whatever fields you want on the back.
• Your club logo, in the best quality you have.

You don't need a designer. Send us the photos and the spreadsheet and we'll handle the layout, then send a proof before anything is printed.

Specifications

Size. Standard trading card format (63.5 × 88.9 mm), the same as the cards kids already collect. Custom sizes available.

Stock. 300gsm as standard, with the option of black core so the card feels closer to a retail collectible.

Finish. Gloss for photo punch, matt for a premium feel, or linen. Rounded corners as standard.

Packaging. Loose, bundled by player, or in printed tuck boxes if you're selling packs.

Minimums, cost and timing

We print short runs. A single team is a completely normal order — you don't need a club-wide programme to make it worthwhile.

Most orders take 7–14 working days once artwork is approved.

Order earlier than you think. Prizegiving season is the busiest time of year for this kind of work, and photos always take longer to collect than anyone expects. If your prizegiving is in six weeks, start now — chasing twenty families for photos is the slow part, not the printing.

Enough for one team. Tell us your squad size and we'll quote it — short runs are the whole point of printing locally.

Do we need professional photos?

No. Good phone photos work. We'll tell you honestly if one won't reproduce well before we print it.

Can each player have a different back?

Yes. Every card can carry that player's own stats and details.

Can we sell these to raise funds?

Absolutely — they're your cards. Plenty of clubs order extras to sell to families and supporters.

Can you match our club colours?

Yes. Send your logo and colour references and we'll build the layout around them.
